UK ELECTIONS From one genocide supporter to another : who do the Muslims turn to now?

The results of the UK elections, serve as a great reminder for the Muslims. Although the Muslim community had their independents and the pro-Palestine candidates, ultimately either one of the two genocide supporters were going to be in office, Rishi or Starmer.

The choice, or rather the illusion of choice, just delays the inevitable realisation: that there is no hope through the ballot box. Bloody nose all you want, the Zionist will push on with the support and blessing of the British Government.

This realisation, for some, may be depressing, but it is essential for us to grow as an ummah and move on.

We have turned to the UN, the ICJ, the ICC, and now the British establishment, for all doors to be closed. We are at a time of desperation and hopelessness. Some may even come to the conclusion that these oppressors and tyrants are in fact in winning.

And in exasperation we say

مَتَىٰ نَصْرُ اللَّهِ

“When (will come) the Help of Allah?”

And Allah responds

أَلَا إِنَّ نَصْرَ اللَّهِ قَرِيبٌ

Yes! Certainly, the Help of Allah is near!

(Baqarah 2:214)

This hopelessness and desperation is a necessity for us to understand our only reliance is on Allah, just as the Palestinians have known all along.

In this weak powerless state of ours, we appreciate the Unlimited Power of Allah, and turn to Him.

What is the path that Allah commands us to follow? To rely on the enemies of Islam? To compromise on one part of our deen in the hope of achieving something in another aspect? Or to forge our own independent path away from the dirty politics of the West?

These questions and discussions should dominate our atmospheres and circles, so that we gain clarity on the situation and we move forward together as an ummah with full reliance on Allah (swt)
